我們都知道Kindle Fire是一部Android系統的平板，采用Android 2.3 Gingerbread系統，但是因為采用了Amazon深度定制的UI，所以Kindle Fire發布時并沒有Gmail Youtube這些Google應用程序。雖然Kindle Fire提供了Amazon Appstore，用戶可以通過它下載免費或者收費應用程序，但是Amazon Appstore屏蔽了所有Google應用程序以及大量第三方應用。為了讓Kindle Fire更加Powerful，安裝Android Market就非常有必要。通過下面簡單的幾個步驟，你就可以在Kindle Fire上安裝并使用Android Market。

以下操作在Windows系統完成，Mac用戶可以使用Parallels虛擬Windows來實現
- Step 1: Connect your Kindle Fire to your PC and root your Kindle Fire using this tutorial. You may need to “re-root” your device using SuperOneClick by clicking “root” in the upper left hand corner. It may say “Your device already appears to be rooted!!! Are you sure you want to continue?” Just click yes. Otherwise you may receive the error “remount failed: Operation not permitted” when performing a remount in step 4. Once rooting is verified, proceed to the next step.
- Step 2: Download and extract the Android Market APK folder and save it to your C:\ drive as C:\market\<files>
- Step 3: Open a command prompt (start, run, CMD), and perform the following commands. The first two commands are just showing you how to navigate to your Android SDK directory. Your SDK directory may be different depending on where you installed the SDK during the rooting tutorial.
cd /
cd Android/platform-tools/
adb remount
adb push c:\market\GoogleFeedback.apk /system/app/GoogleFeedback.apk
adb push c:\market\GoogleServicesFramework.apk /system/app/GoogleServicesFramework.apk
adb push c:\market\Vending.apk /system/app/Vending.apk
adb reboot
- Step 4: Install Go Launcher EX from Amazon Appstore. This allows you to see the Android Market app. You can then configure Go Launcher EX as your default launcher (recommended).
- Step 5: Login to Android market using your Google ID and start downloading apps like Gmail, YouTube, Spotify, and much, much more!
